PvP Patch Changes:
Rend Equipment abilities were removed to balance being able to cast these abilities with long-ranged weapons. Rend Equipment abilities have been added as “cast” effects on select Axes and the Yoichi Bow (Rend Weapon).

Additional abilities replaced the Rend Equipment ones to enhance Knight as a job.

Reaction

Parry (Trigger: Always On) – Chance to evade physical incoming damage from the front or sides based on the equipped weapon’s parry chance (percent value beside the Physical or Magick Attack stat). Bravery does not apply to this ability. If dual-wielding, each weapon has a separate chance to cause evasion.

PvP Patch Change (Parry): This reaction is always active at all times and is no longer required to be slotted to use your weapon’s Block rates. Due to this change, the Parry reaction was removed. To note, most weapon’s vanilla Block rates have been reworked and values standardized for balance purposes due to being always on.

NEW Resilient (Trigger: Always Active while Charging) – Decreases physical damage taken by 50% while charging abilties instead of taking increased damage while doing so (inverts the damage penalty).

Support

Equip Heavy Armor – Equip Armor regardless of job.

Equip Shields – Equip Shields regardless of job.

Equip Swords – Equip Swords (does not apply to Knight’s Swords or Fell Swords) regardless of job.

✨PvP Patch Changes:
NEW Monkey Grip – Allows you to equip forced two-handed weapons with one hand, enabling the slotting of a shield.

Equip All Armor (formerly Equip Heavy Armor) – Equip Heavy Armor, Clothing, Robes, Helms, and Hats, regardless of job.

Equip Swords – Equip Swords and Katanas, regardless of job (Equip Katanas was changed as well).
